Lower emissions, reduced costs, better prices for customers

At our printing house, we take sustainability seriously – and not just as a marketing slogan. Energy-intensive print production is amongst sectors where every ecological measure can have a truly visible impact. That's why we've invested in our own photovoltaic power plant, which today helps us operate more cleanly, efficiently and economically.


496 panels, 250.48 kWp and a third of our own consumption

On the roof of our production hall, 496 solar panels are installed with a total output of 250.48 kWp. Thanks to this, we can cover approximately a third of our entire annual energy consumption from a renewable source.


This means:

  • significantly lower carbon footprint of production

  • reduced dependence on external electricity suppliers

  • stable and more predictable energy costs


What we don't consume ourselves, we send to a partner company, so the energy doesn't go to waste and remains in local circulation.


Economic benefit: lower costs = better prices for customers

Photovoltaics isn't just an ecological measure – it's also a smart economic decision.


Thanks to our own electricity production:

  • we reduce operating costs,

  • we plan long-term stable prices better,

  • we can offer a more competitive price for printing, packaging and additional services.


In other words: cleaner printing doesn't mean more expensive. On the contrary – thanks to PV, we can keep prices for our customers favourable in the long term.


Energy from renewable sources as standard

Our PV system is part of a broader sustainability strategy that includes:

  • ecological handling of paper and waste,

  • optimisation of production processes,

  • use of waste heat for water heating,

  • emphasis on recycling and circular approach in production.


Solar panels are one of the steps that gives our operations a clear direction: to be a printing house of the future, where technology, economy and ecology complement each other.
